Time-Weighted Average Concentration Calculator
ⓘ
Conversion of the data from Awance ceramic passive samplers into
time-weighted average (TWA) concentrations of contaminants in water.
(demo-version)
ⓘ
Demo-vesrion is limmitied to only one compound for illustration of the live experiment. Can you determine concentration of methylene blue?
1. Select compound and water type (Methylene Blue in drinking water). The corresponding
sampling rate Rs will appear.
2. Enter sampler data – exposure duration T, accumulated mass M, and its uncertainty ΔM.
3. Click “Calculate” to obtain the TWA concentration Ctwa. The prepared concentration of methylene blue is 10.67 mg/L.
4. Click “Visualize data” to visyally compare your result with the true value (red dashed line).
5. If your error bars overlap with the red line — you’ve passed the challenge!
